KATHMANDU, MAY 12 - At least 36 people have been killed and 1,129 others injured in the quake that struck on Tuesday, Home Ministry spokesperson Laxmi Prasad Dhakal said.
The death toll from the deadly quake of April 25 has already crossed 8,000.
An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale rocked Nepal with its epicenter at 18 km south east of Kodari in Sindhupalchok district, USGS said.
Dolakha and Sindhupalchok are presumably th
e worst hit districts by today’s quake.
Meanwhile, rescue helicopters have been dispatched to Dolakha and Sindhupalchok district with medical teams.
